ABSTRACT

We will briefly review the developments in Physics and Mathematics during the last century. We find that while Science was born and grown under the auspices of Cartesian principles, the 20th century Physics and Mathematics defy the Cartesian premises. The emerging unified viewpoint on cosmos, renounces the dualisms (subject-object, reason-faith, cogitation-being) and incorporates elements of the traditions.
